Queenstown Snowmobiles ‘Takes Off’ for Winter 2026

Queenstown Snowmobiles has started for the Winter 2026 season, New Zealand’s only heli-accesssed snowmobile experience. 

With recent snow on the mountains around Queenstown, there is enough snow for this epic adventure trip to get going for this season.

This is an exclusive adventure with up to six snowmobilers on each trip……there are three trips per day. Clients ride their own snowmobile for a tour around the Garvie Plateau, a flat snow-covered plateau where only Queenstown Snowmobiles is permitted to operate.  No experience is necessary as all tuition is provided and no drivers licence is needed.  

Getting to the Garvie Plateau is via a scenic helicopter 15-minute ride there and back, passing over The Remarkables ski area and the untouched Nevis Valley area. 

This is a commissionable product and is available to be booked through the agents portal.   Retail NZD$ 1 179 per adult and $NZD 839 per child (6-14 years)  This is a super family-friendly experience creating unforgettable family moments.
