After a very busy summer the team at Queenstown House B & B on Hallenstein Street have started some rolling renovations.

Focus is on some of the Lake View Studio rooms, giving them a freshen up with new furnishings and smart, modern bathrooms.

Meanwhile at Queenstown House Luxury Lakeside Apartments (pictured above) air-conditioning was introduced prior to the hot summer months.

More recently a new ski boot and glove drain racks (taking up to 10 sets of books) is a welcome addition for skiers this coming season.

Sustainability

Edgewater’s sustainability journey has been bolstered by the renewal of its Toitu Carbon Reduction Certification.

For the second year, Edgewater has been externally audited and its reduction in carbon confirmed, based on carbon per revenue.

Trip Advisor Traveler’s Choice

Edgewater has just been granted the Trip Advisor Traveler’s Choice award.

This means Edgewater is within the top 10% of properties on Trip Advisor.

Albatross Travel Services have just been Qualmark assessed and delighted to have moved from Bronze to Silver level.

It means, “evidence of a sophisticated tourism business that consistently exceeds visitor expectations. Proactive leadership and management ensure that a culture of high performance is evident throughout the entiire business. “
